I guess it’s time for me to unveil a project I’ve been working on for the past few weeks.

It’s an iPhone / iPod Touch application that lets you manage your Drupal websites and it’s called Drupad – with a d (but if you’re reading this right from the blog, you probably already know that ^^).

Ok so you’re wondering “What can I do with this app?”

The answer is pretty simple… you’ll be able to do pretty much all of Drupal basic actions, such as:

  • moderate and manage comments, content and users
  • keep an eye on your installation status (report, updates)
  • run cron
  • backup your database
  • put the site online or in maintenance mode in case of emergency

See the home page for a complete feature list – and don’t forget to check our roadmap.

The application is under Apple review process, so all we have to do now is to wait.

In the meantime, you can already download the companion module which is required for the app to work at Drupal.org and follow us on Twitter @drupadapp to get updates.
